Katherine Uruchima is a Chicago artist who explores religious and mythical themes in her work through drawing. She received her associate's degree from Wilbur Wright College, Chicago, in 2022 and transferred to Northeastern Illinois University, where she studies studio art and graphic design. While drawing is central to her practice, Katherine frequently experiments with different media, recently delving into painting, where she expresses her identity through Catholic mythical imagery.
